Walking – well, hopping on my crutches – along the streets of Cuenca Ecuador, I see life size “dummies” and multicolored masks lining my way, images of famous people, entertainment figures, as well as “regular” people.
 Back in early August a guy backed his truck right into my Lexus and both passenger doors were damaged. I was just in the process of packing up all my worldly belongings and setting out on a journey to South America mid October, and this was a great inconvenience.
